Research

Our studies examine the impact of economic factors, management and policy on innovation and science, while we work closely with stakeholders in policy, industry and the third sector.

We believe strongly in the mutual fertilisation of problem-driven research defined by stakeholders, and theory-driven research defined by our own academic curiosity. Engagement and dissemination are also fundamental to our activities.

Our research covers a broad range of topics, grouped into four dedicated themes.

The Innovation Co-Lab

This international virtual e-lab partnership was co-founded by MIOIR along with colleagues at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Beijing Institute of Technology.
